The Department of Electrical Engineering at H R Institute of Engineering & Technology was established with a vision to impart quality education and provide competent professionals to fulfil the needs of industry and society in global perspective for sustainable development of industry and society. The Department of EN offers diploma in Electrical engineering. The Department aims to foster students to attain professional excellence by imparting them necessary soft skills and technical knowledge in fields like Electricity, Electromagnetics, Power Engineering, Control Systems, Signal Processing, Digital Computers and Instrumentation.

These areas of Electrical  Engineering help students to enhance their capability to think critically & rationally, employability and  utility for industry with society and nation in large. Department is well equipped with state of art labs to train electrical diploma holders to advance their theoretical knowledge and sound practices of the profession. The students are encouraged to undertake projects in the areas of Machine Design, Power System Planning, Operations and Control, Microprocessor Application. Every year department organizes training program as per Industry requirements, by highly qualified and experienced trainers from the Industry to make them easily employable. The Department consists of well experienced, qualified as well as young faculty members who also work as mentors to the equally diligent and hardworking students.
